Endowment Fund

“An endowment fund is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding that can provide support for its designated purpose in perpetuity.”

St. Elizabeth Area Catholic School’s endowment consists of two funds that are managed by the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan. When you make a gift to the St. Elizabeth Endowment Fund, you create a permanent legacy of support for our school.

St. Elizabeth Area Catholic School makes use of the withdrawals from the invested capital to purchase books, provide professional development for teachers and for some “extras” not included in our operating budget but which will enhance the teaching-learning process.

Donations for the St. Elizabeth Endowment Fund may be sent to the school or by contacting Dan McKune at the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan (989) 797-6624.

Joan Rupp Memorial Fund

Mrs. Joan Rupp was a dear parishioner who loved St. Elizabeth parish and school. She always made sure that all the children went on a field trip or had what they needed. Even to her last days, she thought of the children and ordered a Halloween gift for them. When she passed, we could not think of a better way to honor her memory than establishing a fund in her name to provide financial assistance to families who wanted a Catholic education for their children. This year, the fund has provided assistance to provide education to 12 students. All donations to this fund are acknowledged for tax purposes. 

"Wish List" Fund

There are many items that would enhance our programs and our daily life at St. Elizabeth, but they are not usually included in our limited budget. Generous donors are invited to prayerfully consider Wish List items.  Some items on our WISH LIST have been donated, so we have crossed them off our list.

Planned Giving

Somebody not long ago shared with St. Elizabeth staff, "We will be judged by how well we have served God's people and God's world, not just ourselves or our immediate family." Around the same time, we received notice that someone had included St. Elizabeth Area Catholic School in her will and we would be receiving a gift. A stated bequest in your will benefit our Catholic school and be a lasting tribute to you or a loved one. Your gift will assist Catholic education and help to secure its future for years to come. No family at St. Elizabeth Area Catholic School pays the full cost to
educate a student. Supporting our commitment to make a Catholic
