The 3rd/4th grades have been learning about weather and climate in Science. Today we made wind vanes to tell wind direction. We will be collecting data on the wind direction over the next couple of weeks and put our results into a graph. #soarlikeaneagle #letyourlightshine #StElizabethReese #weather #climate #OurCatholicSchools #CatholicSchoolDifference
The 1st and 2nd grade students did a directed draw of flower anatomy for #science and what an amazing job they did! They are some great artists! #soarlikeaneagle #letyourlightshine #StElizabethReese #flowers #artistsinthemaking #OurCatholicSchools #CatholicSchoolDifference
We had such a great time watching the #eclipse2024 together! Thank you to Mrs. Willertz for getting #eclipseglasses for everyone. It is crazy to think that we won't see another one until 2045! Students noticed the change in the light, the temperature and how the wind picked up. Such great observations happening! The shadows through the trees and bushes in the yard even had a crescent shape to them during the eclipse. Did you see the eclipse? What did you observe? #soarlikeaneagle #letyourlightshine #StElizabethReese #OurCatholicSchools #CatholicSchoolDifference
