Student Council put on an assembly today for the school, starting with a meditation on the first picture below. Students were asked : Does the Devil know your name? Does the Devil know who you are? or love you? Who knows every detail of you and knew you before you were born? Should the Devil be scared of you? or of Jesus? Does Jesus love you?
#FaithfulFriday today was full of #prayer and #intentions. Each student and staff member was asked to write down a prayer intention on a piece of paper. Once complete, the #rosary was prayed as the papers were linked together making a rosary, reading each intention aloud. It was incredible hearing all the different intentions as they were lifted up in prayer. This is the #CatholicSchoolDifference. The paper rosary will be displayed in the entrance to the school so make sure to stop in and check it out!
Kindergarten students were "Fall"ing for Jesus today during their religion lesson. Ms. LaClair would drop the leave labeled "Jesus" and whoever it landed near would fall to their knees and say a prayer. Once everyone had a turn, they all got on their knees and prayed silently together whatever was on their little hearts. After they finished praying, they took leaves collected outside and created art with them making "Fall in Love with Jesus" pictures which they handed out to all the classroom teachers and office staff. Are you #FallingInLoveWithJesus? Our students are!
Today was #EagleSpirit day sporting our blue and gold! To add to the fun, we had "anything but a backpack" day where students could bring anything to school instead of a backpack! We had a dresser drawer, some luggage, a cooler, a shop-vac and more! What would you bring for anything but a backpack day?
