Classical music in the classroom

September 5, 2024Some of our grades are using a curriculum from Memoria Press that incompasses a Classical Education model. The Kindergarten materials came with a Book of Crafts and the students did a wonderful job creating a tree from construction paper and tissue paper as one of their crafts.Kindergarten through 2nd graders also listened to Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 in F Major, op.68 named "Pastoral" then were asked to draw a picture of what they felt and thought of while listening. They are some proud artists! We are so grateful for our liberal arts education model through the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education.This is the #CatholicSchoolDifference.
